WEATHER WATCH
The heat has been unbearable lately, with the highest recorded at 35 degrees Celsius. According to the Central Weather Bureau, the stationary front is expected to bring scattered showers across the entire island until Tuesday evening, with a greater chance in the northern and eastern part of Taiwan. People are advised to carry their umbrellas throughout the weekend and to be prepared for the wet roads ahead.
