The devastating earthquake has stalled the tourism industry in Japan, temporarily suspending the trips for those who travel just to appreciate the scenery of cherry blossoms. Here on CTS, we are giving you an alternative plan by taking you to check out Alishan, one of our greatest attractions in Taiwan, where you can enjoy the sunrise over the sea of flowers.
White and pink Yoshino cherry blossoms are finally blooming on the trees.
Some of the trees are full of pink Japanese Alpine Cherry blossoms.
Many visitors to Alisan say the view is just as breathtaking as in Japan.
The mountain is packed with tourists during the long holiday.
All the tours to Japan to see cherry flowers have been cancelled due to the earthquake, making Alisan the next best choice. Tons of visitors are waiting to hop on the mini train.
According to a prelimenary statistic, the visitor number exceeds 20,000 people today.
If you also want to check out the beautiful cherry blossoms at Alisan, we suggest you to take public transportation or you may lose patience for being stuck in traffic jams.
