Taiwanese fashion designer Johan Ku is going across to ocean and will be debuting his work for the first time at this year's Tokyo Fashion Week in March. Inspired by the director Tsai Min-liang's movie "The Hole", Ku will present porous woolen garments, which are not only creative but also, quite versatile.

The knit wear of large, thick yarn creates layers and sculpting effect that is the signature designs unique to Taiwanese fashion designer Johan Ku, who presented his new collection, which is not all white anymore, but black and gray.

Ku also was inspired by director Tsai Ming Liang's movie, "The Hole", to open holes on the sweater to create more possibilities between fashion and those who wear them.

The collection, HOLE, is to be presented at this year's Tokyo Fashion Week in March, which will be Kus first large scale fashion show, and would make him the first Taiwanese fashion designer to have a show at the Tokyo Fashion Week.

Tsai, on the other hand, will help shooting a promotional video for Ku.

After winning an important fashion event in 2009, Ku held personal show at Taipei Museum of Modern Art and published his own book and created his own brand.

Ku will also present his own ready-wear collections and accessories in Tokyo, hoping to make a name for himself again on the international stage.
