The Chinese New Year is approaching, and we are seeing all kinds of good deals at the New Year's Goods Market in Kaohsiung City. From the Sanfeng Central Street Market, to the Fengshan Market, consumers can enjoy the festivity in different parts of Kaoshiung, while exploring the local agricultural products that are available for this holiday.

Performances by local folk dance and lion dance troupes as well as a Songjiang Battle Array group attract spectators to this New Year's Market in Kaohsiung's Cishan.

Apart from New Year's goods and local specialties, shoppers were also drawn to the market by fresh produce, red envelope giveaways, and calligraphic scrolls.

A number of New Year's markets will open around the city this year, including at Sanfeng Central Street, Fengshan's Furniture Street, Gangshan's traditional market, and Cishan's Old Street.

Cishan's market was the first to open on the 22nd, and vendors will be offering special discounts to stimulate sales and attract tourists.
