Civil groups are now urging the government to offer solutions in helping them to stay off the streets.

Social welfare groups join forces in organizing the year-end banquet for homeless people. This year, the banquet would have 2,000 tables, an attempt to challenge the past records.

According to the survey by social welfare groups, nearly 70% of the homeless are victims of atypical employment.

Nearly 30% of the homeless are people under the age of 45, a phenomenon that serves as a warning to the society.

Social welfare groups hope the government can quickly propose some solutions,

such as adding establishment for their accommodation and limiting atypical employment, so as to help minimize the number of homeless people.
