Wu And Son Visit Ex-president Chen
Former first lady, Wu Shu-jen, and son, Chen Chih-chung, took the high speed rail to Taipei to visit former president, Chen Shui-bian. This is Wu's first public appearance since the latest ruling involving the bribery cases. Appearing weak and exhausted, Wu did not respond to any questions.
Speechless, the former first lady, Wu Shu-chen, accompanied by her son, Chen Chih-chung, arrived at the Taipei Detention Center to visit the former president, Chen Shui-bian.
Other than looking tired, Ms Wu also seems really frail.
Since the land parcel incident in Longtan and the bribery charges have been made, this is the first time that Wu has shown herself to the public.
And since she got off the high speed rail in Taipei, she hasn't spoken a word and was wheeled away hurriedly by her help.
After meeting with the ex president, the two of them left the detention center.
Chen and his wife have been sentenced to 11 years and 8 years of imprisonment from both charges.
Also, since Wu has also been charged laundering money from the bribery case, she was charged for another 7 months additionally.
But whether she will actually be imprisoned due to her frail health will be discussed between the doctors and the persecutors.
