Barbie Hsu is not the only public figure to tie the knot soon. Wedding bells are also ringing for 54-year-old controversial activist Ke Tsi-hai, who plans to walk down the aisle later this month with a lady that many think bears an uncanny resemblance to supermodel Lin Chi-ling.

It's been a while since we last saw the man who never seemed tired of protesting.

But having served a jail term for fraud over most of the past three years, Ke Tsi-hai now appears to be a different man, who looks much more friendly and debonair.

So what's the reason for his amazing transformation? Well, he's in love.

The 54-year-old Ke recently announced that he is going to marry his girlfriend Chang Mei-dan, whom he fell in love with about two months ago.

Chang, who works for Formosa Biomedical Corporation, is 13 years junior to her groom-to-be. And her good looks have won her the reputation of "Ling Chi-ling of FBC" among her colleagues, who compare her to Taiwan's best-known supermodel.

When asked about how Ke managed to win her heart, the lady said the key lies in his incredible perseverance.

While some consider them a mismatched couple, others may call them a creative pairing. There's no denying that they appear to have found true happiness in each other, which at the end of the day, is the only thing that matters.
