Once Actor, Now Pianist
If you recall watching the popular television series, Bao Qing Tian, which aired more than 15 year ago here on CTS, then you may remember the little boy actor, who played Chen Shi-mei's son. Ivan Lin, the once child star, who is now 23 years old, has moved on to be another kind of performer on stage.
Ivan Lin, who played the son of the infamous character, Chen Shi-mei at the classic TV series, Bao Ching Tian, was only a 4-year-old child back then.
Now, he is 23 and is also a pianist and has just been awarded first prize at the 11th Edvard Grieg International Piano Competition in Norway by playing Liszt's Dance of Death.
Even though the transition is great comparing to the time when he was a little child and being a little riot on the set, he has successfully made a name for himself by being an award-winning pianist.
Since he has gotten the award, many agencies and directors are also hoping that he will take up acting again.
Even though most of the audience wasn't able to see him play the piano, maybe in the near future, will be able to see Ivan act again.
