Renowned media figure Sisy Chen served as volunteer guide on Wednesday at Taipei Flora Expo's Pavilion of Future, introducing the plants on display with clarity and humor.

She may be one of the island's best known public intellectuals, but it's unusual for acclaimed TV personality Sisy Chen to serve the public this way.

Having presented a series of in-depth reports on the Taipei Flora Expo in her TV show "Sisy's World News," Chen appeared at the Pavilion of Future on November 10th and took the role of volunteer guide, explaining to visitors in detail the characteristics of each plant on exhibition.

And in order to introduce a plant that supposedly dances whenever someone sings nearby, Chen even did her rendition of ABBAs "Dancing Queen" on the spot.

Well, the plant apparently did not appreciate her performance.

Chen joked that it probably takes a professional like Lady Gaga to make the plant comply.

Despite the slight embarrassment, the visitors were generally pleased with Chens service. And Chen herself also enjoyed the experience, saying that she'd love to be a volunteer here everyday, if her schedule allows it.
