Navians at Golden Horse
Film buffs, take note.
For the first time in its 47-year history, the Golden Horse Awards ceremony will be hosted by aliens, or at least celebrities who dress as them. In a humorous opening film for the upcoming award event, co-hosts Dee Hsu and Kevin Tsai turn themselves into members of the Na'vi tribe, from the movie "Avatar," to surprise and amuse the audience.
Two Navians sit together and they have a great time.
Look closely, they are popular show host Dee Hsu and Kevin Tsai.
The looks are fun but the process of creating the looks is exhausting and painful.
Dee Hsu said she almost couldn't breathe and the photo scared her daughter, who said she looks like a mummy.
The process of the makeup requires the two TV show hosts to wear a face mask, where green molding materials were spread on their face for an hour.
It turns out that the transformation of becoming a navian is quite painful.
But look at the final result, they look very similar to what is seen in the Hollywood blockbuster, with big noses and protruding ears.
Kevin Tsai also turns into a tough male navian.
The straight-shooters don't forget to add their personal touch into the new look.
