Golden Chef Competition
The World Golden Chef Competition, which is regarded as the Olympics of Chinese cooking, will open in Malaysia on July 30th.
12 chefs have registered for Taiwan's team, and Premier Wu Den-yih recently presided over a flag ceremony for the group to wish it luck.
Over the past three months, the young chefs have been getting together after work to practice and develop chemistry.
Their competition uniforms will bear the Republic of China flag, and they hope to bring a gold medal home to Taiwan.
