You can call her the "mommy of the year" because this 35 year-old woman is truly a giver. In the past year and a half, she has donated more than 100,000 cc of breast milk to the hospital, providing for 32 babies this year. Her generosity has made her the number one "milk contributor" at the Taipei City Hospital.

Nursing mother is a job

As Miss Li opened her fridge, packs of breast milk exposed in front of our eyes. Miss Li, is the super nursing mother, we are going to introduce to you.

The 35 year-old Li has a one year-old daughter and was lack of breast-milk due to wrong method used. After her correction, she discovered her ability of having more beast-milk, finally, she could even offer other mothers to feed their babies.

Around 100.000 cc was the amount she has donated in 17 months, to help premature infants. Every time, Li disinfects all equipments carefully, and sterilizes her hands before pumping. After reaching a certain amount, she calls delivery to send the portion to Taipei, before its freshness expires. This way, premature infants and undernourished children could be helped.

Her generosity assisted the Taipei City Hospital since it has been established 6 years ago. Miss Li also became the top donator. Although, pumping breast milk is really tiring and tough, she will keep her efforts to help those children as long and as much as she can.
