The Taipei Zoo was briefly turned into Jurassic Park for the past two days as a couple of realistic-looking dinosaurs were roaming inside and scaring visitors. These anachronistic creatures are actually life-size puppets from a touring theatrical show that will open in Taipei early next month.

The lifelike dinosaurs, a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a Utahraptor, seem to appear out of nowhere and succeed in frightening zoo visitors.

Although children know that the dinosaurs aren't real and can see the legs of the zoo workers inside the dinosaurs, they still scream and run away.

The dinosaur snaps at one man's hat and at another woman's book, and a pair of brothers scramble and fall over themselves as they try to get away from the dinosaurs.

A young girl hides in her father's arms, while a mother grabs her son and retreats.

One boy stands by the dinosaur's head, chanting, "I'm not afraid! I'm not afraid!"

However, he falls over as soon as the dinosaur turns towards him. The dinosaurs will be at the zoo for two days.
