Farm Life for Foreign Students
Not many young people in Taiwan have experienced the life of farmers, let alone foreign visitors. Recently, a group of young dancers from Lithuania stepped into the rice paddies to harvest the rice for a hands-on experience of Taiwan's farming culture.
These bamboo hat-wearing and hard-working young farmers are actually students of a dance troupe from Republic of Lithuania.
In order to experience the farming life in Taiwan, they visit the famous Pearl community.
They seem to be very intrigued by each of the tools and find the rice harvest machine especially interesting.
After working hard for the whole morning, the more than 30 foreign students, who have never seen rice harvest in their home country, get to see and experience the process themselves.
It is a unique and unforgettable experience for them.
