Right before they rocked the Taipei stage on Wednesday, our own Louisa Lee had a few moments to chat with Amy Lee, the lead singer of the Grammy-award winning band, Evanescence. The words and sounds of these tracks from their debut album, titled "Fallen" gave them instant stardom, winning the hearts of fans and two Grammy awards in the year of 2004. Renowned for their classically-influenced hard rock tunes led by singer Amy Lees soaring vocals, Fallen brought the band to global success by topping the charts in more than 10 countries and selling more than 17 million copies worldwide. Following the release of their second studio album, "The Open Door" in 2006, which upped their total album sales to nearly 25 million, Amy and her band members took a five-year hiatus, a break too long in the eyes of music lovers.
