PROTEST AGAINST AUSTERITY MEASURES
Thousands marched through the streets of Barcelona to protest austerity measures in Spain's north-eastern region. Their message was clear --- No to spending cuts. Demonstrators included many teachers, police officers and hospital staff who are furious about salary cuts and tax increases.
