CRUISE ACHIEVING THE IMPOSSIBLE
In "Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol," Cruise returns as the super agent Ethan Hunt, who was framed for bombing the Kremlin.
Forced to run with his fellow agents without any resources or backups, they must find a way to clear their agency's name, prevent another attack and avert a nuclear war.
Like its previous installments, the fourth Mission Impossible is packed with stunts and action scenes, while featuring the world's tallest building, Dubai's 2,716 feet Burj Khalifa. Instead of using a stuntman, Tom Cruise did the stunt off the world's tallest tower himself.
"I have to say when I saw Brad's design of what he wanted to accomplish, I was very excited to do it, the first moment, you know I have one little pick here and one little rope, I remember just being there saying this is a moment of truth.
There is one thing seeing it another thing trying to accomplish that and you know I was very excited because I thought it would be very entertaining for an audience and very challenging and so that's why I did it."
The movie series "Mission Impossible" first began in 1996 and have grossed over 2 billion US dollars worldwide with its action-packed story line.
The total three installments garnered more than 50 percent of favorable reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, with the third scoring even 70 percent of positive reviews."Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol" will be released in Taiwan on December 16.
