NORWEGIAN KILLER BREIVIK DECLARED INSANE
Norwegian extremist Anders Behring Breivik, who is accused of killing 77 people, in the two attacks in Norway on July 22nd, has been declared insane. The 32-year-old suspect may face life-long compulsory treatment instead of prison time.
The two psychiatrists who interviewed Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik on 13 occasions, have concluded that he is suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, adding that he is in his "own delusional universe where all his thoughts and acts are guided by his delusions.
" The experts believe that Breivik was in a psychotic state during the twin attacks, which left 77 dead and 151 injured.
A panel of forensic psychiatrists will further evaluate the 243-page report
Breivik, who has admitted to carrying out the July massacre, regarded as the most violent attack since World War II, has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Breivik is set to take the stand in April of next year.
