PROTESTERS CALL FOR "MILLION-MAN MARCH"
Following days of deadly clashes in Egypt, military rulers have agreed to make presidential elections happen by July 2012.
Tens of thousands of protesters, responded to a call for a "million-man march", at the capital's square for a mass demonstration on Tuesday, in an attempt to force generals out of office for their failed efforts to stabilize the economy and bring democracy to the country.
Clashes between security forces and pro-democracy protesters in Cairo continue for a fourth day. A steady stream of injured are ferried by motorcycle from the front line, where stone-throwing demonstrators are facing off with riot police who are unleashing a constant barrage of tear gas, bird shot and rubber bullets. Injured protester: "When myself and someone else were talking someone threw a stone.
Right then from one of their armoured personnel carriers, the officer that was in front of the armoured personnel carrier fired a shotgun cartridge and it hit the person who was with me directly in the face, here. And so now they took him to Qas al-Aini hospital."At least 33 people have been killed in the non-stop violence - and over 1,500 have been injured. (Travis Brecher/Reuters
