MONTI SWORN IN AS ITALY'S PM
Mario Monti has been sworn in as the new Prime Minister and the finance minister of Italy, by President Giorgio Napolitano at a ceremony in Rome.
Monti has unveiled the members of the newly formed technocrat government, with a goal to steer Italy through a major debt crisis, and to restore credibility in the international financial markets.
