JIANG ZEMIN MAKES PUBLIC APPEARANCE
In celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution, China's leaders President Hu Jintao and former president Jiang Zeming both attended the commemoration in Beijing, marking Jiang's first public appearance since rumours emerged that he had died.
President Hu called the revolution, 100 years ago on this day, a turning point in Chinese history, led by Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
