SARKOZY, CAMERON VISIT LIBYA
French President Nicolas Sarkozy and British Prime Minister David Cameron have landed in Libya on Thursday to meet with the nation's new interim leaders, the National Transitional Council. This marks the first visit since the autocratic ruler Muammar Gaddafi was ousted.
The two western leaders have been supporting the NATO bombing campaign, which aided the NTC in overthrowing Gaddafi.Anti-Gaddaffi fighters have regrouped to take down Gaddafi's three strongholds, after warning residents in Bani Walid to leave the area.
