TOP OFFICIAL RESIGNED OVER DEADLY CLASHES
According to an official, Egypt's finance minister Hazen Beblawi has since submitted his resignation, to show his disapproval against the government's handling of the weekend protests, which left 26 dead and over 200 wounded.
The resignation will be the first by a senior government official in the wake of the deadly clashes in Cairo last Sunday.
