Chart-topping artist Jessie J's broken foot is costing her chance to perform with Katy Perry, as she is set to be replaced by Ellie Goulding to open for Perry's forthcoming U.S. tour, including gigs in Hartford, Las Vegas, New York, Oakland, and Los Angeles. Although devastated by the news, Jessie J expresses how happy she is for her friend, who will be taking over the spotlight as the opening act. The up-and-coming star, who still has her foot heavily bandaged, first announced the news via twitter, saying "Having a cry about having to pull out of the Katy Perry tour. I am as upset as my fans believe me. My foot is just not healing as well as I hoped." Perry, also announced Jessie J's replacement on twitter, by welcoming Goulding to the California Dreams Tour this November, while wishing a speedy recovery for Jessie J.
