Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli was just here on the island for two shows, and without a question, he wowed us away for the third time at the Taipei Arena.

The internationally acclaimed star says that Taiwan is just like his home, and he has prepared a handful of classical tunes, and someone very special to give us a different kind of night.

Bocelli did say he was going to bri ng sun to Taiwan, following the raining days, but he provided more than that.

A night of melodic tunes, followed by a pleasant surprise. New Zealand pop-classical soprano Hayley Westenra took on the stage for the first time with Bocelli, as a guest singer.

And just imagine what that was like for the Taipei audience.

Bocelli made his mark in the hearts of fans, and became a vocal phenomenon in the 1990s. From a piano bar singer, to now a global icon, he is considered to be one of the most successful performing artists of all time, selling more than 65 million albums around the world.

And third time's the charm for Bocelli, who had another sellout in Taiwan. Way to set a record on the first leg of his 2011 Asia Tour.
