NO HARD FEELINGS BETWEEN TSAI AND SU?
Although the DPP presidential primary seemed to have ended without hard feelings among the candidates, there has been very little interaction between the winner, Tsai Ing-wen and runner-up Su Tseng-chang ever since. And some pan green supporters had previously expected to see both of them attend yesterday's memorial ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of party co-founder Fu Cheng's passing, but Su did not show up, citing a scheduling conflict.
Former Premier Su JengChang showed up at the press conference of former President Chen Shui Bians defending lawyer Cheng Wen Longs new book.
su talked about the jury system in the U.S. and the U.K. and said that, local politics and judicial systems need serious reform.
Su was making fun of himself that he could not do anything to change the current situation for he was not picked in the DPP primary.
On the afternoon of the 6th, DPP held a memorial service for the 20th anniversary of the passing of its founding member Fu Jeng.
DPP chairperson Tsai Ying Wen attended the event as the DPP presidential candidate for the first time. However, many were disappointed that they didnt see Su and Tsai on the same stage, which would have been the first time they interact after the DPP primary.
Su stayed low keyed and Tsai mentioned after winning the primary that she is going to ask Su to work with her, but just have not set a time to sit down with him yet.
Many are now speculate the time when Su and Tsai will meet to rally together to bring unity to the DPP.
