Members of animal groups are taking the matter into their own hands, by now rewarding people who report on the use of gin traps on animals. Following previous protest by the activists, the authorities are planning to amend the law by prohibiting individuals of using the inhumane device, but are not completely banning the sale of the product at this time.

A law clearly prohibits people from using animal trap to catch animals, but many ignore the law as many innocent animals lose their feet or are killed.
