WHO IS THE RICHEST PERSON IN TAIWAN?
The Forbes Magazine has just revealed its billionaire list this year. Now, find out who has replaced the Hon Hai Group Chairman Terry Gou as the richest person in Taiwan.
According to Forbes Magazine's latest wealth rankings, HTC Chairperson Cher Wang has replaced Terry Gou as Taiwan's richest person.
HTC's share price recently surpassed 1,000 NT, and Wang's assets are valued at 6.8 billion US dollars, or 204 billion NT dollars.
Cathay Financial's Tsai Hong-tu came in second on the list with assets of 180 million NT dollars, followed by Honhai's Terry Gou with assets of 171 billion NT dollars.
Fourth and fifth on the list were, respectively, Want Want Holdings' Tsai Eng-meng and Formosa Plastics' Wang Yung-tsai.
