HTC STOCK PRICE HITS NT$1000 AGAIN
Tthe stock price of tech giant HTC hit the one-thousand-NT-dollar mark on Monday, more than four years after it fell below the four-digit price range in 2006. HTC has now become the only listed company in the Taipei stock market to have reached the lofty mark twice.
This is a smartphone and it allows you to get online at any time as well as send and receive emails.
One can also download and retrieve files.
Global sales have been startling leading sales volumes to push manufacturers to produce these smartphones.
For this reason, HTC on Monday, saw its share attack the 1,000 NT$ level, not only making it the king of stocks but also setting a record for reaching this level twice.
Looking at Taiwan stocks over the past 5 years, those shares that tested the 1,000 NT$ level include solar energy share "E-TON", which reached 1,205 NT$ in 2006, and gaming share FEC which also tested this level. Still, HTC has become legendary for testing this level twice since 2007.
Scholars believe that the HTC's current value of in excess of 1,000 NT$ will help stabilize the market and create peripheral business opportunities.
But to maintain this top spot, the company will need to continue mastering the market trends to keep its competitiveness.
