2011TAIPEI INT'L BOOK FAIR COMING SOON
The 2011 Taipei International Book Exhibition will be held from February 9th to the 14th at Taipei World Trade Center. With over 500 publishers participating in the event, the fair will also showcase precious manuscripts and correspondences of several famous writers.
War aircrafts and war vehicles are transformed into beautiful girls in comic books.
Taiwanese comic book artist ZECO has created more than 100 characters called girl arms spy. The artist includes famous landmarks of Taipei such as Taipei 101 and the North Gate in his work.
The IDF aircraft has a super adorable comic model.
Wu Yi-cheng, who creates the model, says he completes the crafting and coloring all by himself.
The cute model has 39 parts.
Apparently, the whole process is complicated and time-consuming.
This year, the Taipei International Book Fair will for the first time feature a section dedicated exclusively to Taiwanese authors, with manuscripts and documents from a dozen literature luminaries.
Displayed are the correspondences between Liang Chi-chao and Lin Hsien-tang and Japanese writer Yasunari Kawabata and Taiwanese literary writer Huang De-xi after the former one won the Nobel prize in 1968.
Celebrating its 11th anniversary, the Taipei International Book Fair is to open on February 9th this year,
which will feature representatives from 500 publishing houses from over 50 countries.
It's the biggest and most event-packed exhibition ever, in hopes to give readers a fresh experience.
