Youth Ambassadors for the Mrt
The Kaohsiung City Government recently introduced a series of new measures to promote its MRT services, which include unveiling an extraordinary work of 3-dimensional ground painting at the Formosa station, as well as selecting college students as "Youth Ambassadors" to introduce the system to the public.
In order to assist passengers, the Kaohsiung MRT Corporation hired 22 students as youth ambassadors of Kaohsiung MRT, offering their services to those who need directions and help in getting in and out of the stops.
The services are offered at 6 MRT station in Kaohsiung, hoping to use the attractive youth and their young spirits to up the level of service.
In addition, the 3D landscape map was completed as part of the effort to attract more people to ride the Kaohsiung MRT with a goal set at 140,000 passengers per day next year.
The Formosa station was already a tourist attraction, with the new 3D map, it is hoped that more people can ride the MRT and appreciate the rich culture offered by the station
