Capturing the Changes
A photographer has been snapping away for the past 30 years, documenting Taiwan's traditional farming industry and the lives of farmers. With now 100,000 photos, the changes throughout time have been captured through his lenses.
Veteran photographer Wu Kuen-fu took out pictures to tell us the background of each picture he took.
These pictures captured details of farming life and have a way of transporting us back to poignant moments and showing us the vitality of the time.
Since he became fascinated with photography more than 30 years ago, Wu has focused on the subject of farming village images and traditional industries.
Over the decades, he has taken nearly 100,000 photos and he hopes to preserve the images for future generations.
For the photographer, each photo has a story and he hopes that future generations get to understand the hardship that their ancestors had gone through and that the photos inspire people nowadays to love the land that nurtures us.
