Sightseeing on the Blue Highway
In addition to the visually appealing experience, one can also hop on to one of the eight boats especially built for this event, for some sightseeing.
The cruise will take you from Dajia Riverside Park, to the Rainbow Bridge, and to the Miramar shopping complex.
Passengers aboard the flora expo boat can gaze out at Dajiia Park and its sea of flowers. There are even water birds that graze by from time to time.
Taking a ride on the boat and enjoying the river is one of the main attractions organizers were promoting this time.
There are eight ships and each has a white bottom with the expo's logos painted on them.
The seats are especially designed to allow riders to be able to enjoy the view. Visitors can ride the ships from Dajiia Park, Rainbow Bridge, or Miramar.
They can even enjoy the 1,250-meter "Blue Light Scribe" at night, which cost 85 million NT dollars to build.
