What would it feel like to be animal are locked in an iron cage?
After studying chimpanzees in the field for 50 years, international conservation expert Jane Goodall came to Taiwan for a visit.
She led some students to experience the first time feeling of entering a zoo cage.
Jane Goodall pleas for animals rights, also promoting her "Roots and Shoots" campaign.
On Monday, a normal off day at Hsinchu Zoo was open to the public who were invited to go inside these cages and be observed by people.
Some people could only stand it for a few minutes before wanting to get out. There is simply no freedom, no place to hide, and no companionship.
Goodall wanted people to have this experience and help with animal conservation.
She feels that animals are like humans and are part of nature, as they all deserve the same respect.
