The Man Who Never Sinks
Call him the Aquaman of Taiwan. A 52-year-old man in Kaohsiung has developed the special ability to stay afloat in water for hours without moving, and even with lead weights strapped to his feet, he still doesn't sink. Fortunately, he's not too shy to show off his superpowers in front of the camera.
You might prefer to do some reading in the comfort of your favorite couch, but for Mr. Gong, no couch in the world compares with this literal waterbed. To the amazement of other swimmers, he maintained this posture for three hours on end, and not a single page of the book got wet after this long reading session.
But that's not the only trick in his repertoire. With lead weights strapped to his feet, he still managed to "walk" in water without touching the bottom of the pool. This man just seemed incapable of sinking.
Mr. Gong, aged 52, said the secret to his ability lies in his special methods of breathing and relaxing the body. And it took him three years to master these skills. It's scary to think what sort of new superpowers he will develop in another three years.
