We can always expect beautiful people placed in spectacular settings in James Bond films, but there's one man that's hard to portray and top, Daniel Craig as the world-class spy. 　　At the press conference in Istanbul, Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes, the British filmmaker behind the 23rd film in the franchise, says that it makes a world of difference that Craig is the one playing the complex character. 　　"Without wanting to embarrass him, that was a big thing for me, having a Bond who I believed in, who I felt could take the character to a new level. 　　Craig, who has been in the previous two flicks as Bond, says that he couldn't stop talking to Mendes about the new epic, once MGM's financial troubles were cleared. 　　"We were in continued conversation, once Sam agreed to do it. We weren't supposed to talk to each other because MGM hadn't done the deal. But we couldn't shut up. It was a chance for us to reread the Ian Flemings, and we started e-mailing each other, 'What about this and what about this,' and that's how it snowballed." 　　As usual, Bond is surrounded with hot ladies."We are very, very privileged to have them. They are really serious actresses who are really stamping their mark on this film. 　　And it has been a joy working with both of them and hopefully there will be some humour in the relationships but also some real tension as well. So I am really looking forward to see what they have done."It doesn't matter if she can win Bond's heart in the long run, actress Berenice Marlohe says she's lucky enough. 　　"It is an honour to be cursed as a Bond girl. No, absolutely not. For me it is an amazing chance to be a part of this movie, of a James Bond movie. I have never dreamed to be a Bond girl actually but I always dreamt to belong to a James Bond movie and this script and this character I am working on, I really love both of them. So it is just incredibly exciting and extraordinary to be working on this movie." 　　"Skyfall," which comes with more than just action but takes us to understand the inner demons of the troubled Bond, is slated for release internationally on October 26th.
