A rare 12.76-carat pink diamond has been unearthed in an Australian mine, the largest ever found in the country. The diamond is currently being cut and polished in Perth, where it will be offered for sale by invitation only. The stone is expected to go for millions of dollars. 　　Named as the Argyle Pink Jubilee, the diamond was found in mining giant Rio Tinto's Argyle diamond mine in Western Australia's East Kimberly region. The company said although more than 90 percent of the global supply of pink diamonds come from the mine, this particular one is still very rare. 　　Just as what Argyle Pink Diamond Manager Josephine Johnson said in a statement that "A diamond of this caliber is unprecedented -- it has taken 26 years of Argyle production to unearth this stone, and we may never see one like this again," 　　Argyle Pink Jubilee is similar in color to the Williamson Pink, the diamond found in Tanzania that Queen Elizabeth II received as a wedding gift. In 2010, a rare 24.78-carat pink diamond was sold for a world auction record of $46 million U.S. dollars sale by invitation only.
