STARS SHINE AT COLDEN CAMERA AWARDS
Despite the freezing temperatures in Europe, stars dazzled at the red carpet in Berlin over the past weekend. Hollywood stars Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington and Scarlett Johansson all attended the 47th Golden Camera awards held in Berlin, to personally pick up their awards.
Johansson, named as the best international actress, said she already had a spot in mind for the trophy.
"I don't have anything gold. I have something a little bit bronze. I have something a little bit antique gold and now I have something nice and shiny for the bookcase,"
She also added that she was going to celebrate with 'something civilized, nothing crazy."
With the Golden Camera awards being Germany's most prestigious awards, Oscar winner Denzel Washington was relaxed regarding receiving his best international actor award.
"I know I won already so there is no anxiety. So I am just here to have a good time and enjoy the show: i have never been to this show before so I don't know what to expect. Just to have a good time"
Morgan Freeman, who played Nelson Mandela in 'Invictus,' was honored for a Golden Camera lifetime achievement award.
A live performance by Dionne Warwick was also presented in the ceremony, after Warwick accepted the honor for lifetime achievement in music.
