Madonna becomes a golden girl. The pop-star turned director snagged　two Golden Globe award nominations for her new film "W.E." 　 　　The singer fittingly earned recognition for Best Original Song and Best Original Score by Abel Korzeniowski. Madonna says she learned about the honors as soon as she woke up. 　　Madonna: "On my Blackberry this morning. I reached over as I always do when I wake up, just to make sure I didn't get any exciting breaking news, and I did." The music veteran says she's just happy the film is being honored. 　　Madonna:"I'm really proud that my movie was recognized in any category. And I'm a huge fan of Abel Korzeniowski, the composer of my score.And I'm really proud and happy for him." 　　Madonna: "Yeah, I'm proud and happy for myself. Trying to be humble." 　　"W.E." is Madonna's debut as both a feature film director and co-screenwriter.In the film she mixes history with a bit of fiction to tell the love story of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
