1.2 TONNES OF MARIJUANA SEIZED IN MEXICO
First to the latest seizure in the region,Mexican authorities have discovered 1.2 tons or 100 sacks of marijuana, on an unattended boat in the Gulf of California.
Mexico's navy found 1.2 tonnes of marijuana in an abandoned boat in the Gulf of California. An aerial patrol spotted the boat, which was was stranded near Angel de la Guardia island, containing 100 sacks of marijuana.
The Gulf of California is known to be an ideal chance it corridor for traffickers moving narcotics north towards Mexico's border with the US.
