Lady Gaga again steals the thunder at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday, topping her own record of scooping up three awards last year, with four trophies in hand this time. 　　Stars and fans packed the Odyssey Arena, to witness the victors at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast.Beating off stiff competition, Lady Gaga received four awards total, including best female, best song, and 　　best video for her hit single, "Born This Way." The superstar also snatched the biggest fans trophy, for having the most committed fanbase. She gave it back to her die-hard followers, by going to the moon to sing her latest tune, "Marry the Night."Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber, who has been surrounded with rumors that he fathered a child when he was 16, was chosen as the best pop act and top male singer. 　　Los Angeles rockers Thirty Seconds to Mars picked up best alternative and best world stage gongs. [6]Bruno Mars took home awards for best new act and best push. 　　Katy Perry was voted best live act, Eminem was named the best hip-hop artist, and Korean Band Big Bang stole Taiwanese star Jay Chou's chance of winning the best worldwide award. Linkin Park scooped the best rock award, and rock legends Queen, were handed the Global Icon award. 　　"We were there at the birth of MTV,""How wonderful for us to be here 40 years later ... and here in Belfast which is finally showing its beauty and setting an example to the world by finding, out of grief and tragedy, the beginnings of truth and peace." 　　Rock group Coldplay opened up the ceremony with their new track, "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall", while Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, David Guetta, Ludacris, Taio Cruz and Jessie J, also took the stage to perform for some 8,000 fans. 　　Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen brought the house down with a medley of their greatest hits, with the help of American Idol finalist Adam Lambert. 　　More than 150 million people took part in deciding most of the categories.
