The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met cancer patients and their parents during a tour of a new children's centre on Thursday in Surrey (September 29), south of London, which has been built to treat day and inpatients. William and Kate officially opened an GBP 18 million cancer unit at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton. Before the couple's arrival, patients and hospital staff crowded on to the building's balconies, with a huge cheer erupting as the royal car pulled up. It was Kate's second official engagement with husband William and she stuck to old fashion favourites, wearing an understated cream Amanda Wakeley dress with her favourite LK Bennett sledge shoes and a clutch bag by the same fashion house.
