BOA CUTS 30,000 POSITIONS
Bank of America has announced its plan to cut 30,000 jobs as part of its goal to save $5 billion U.S. dollars, following.
its previous proposal of eliminating 6,000 positions this year. The new change within management will divide the bank into two parts, one for serving consumers, and one for serving commercial clients.
Even though the company stock has increased following the news, shares of BofA have been tumbling for months, after dropping 48 percent since the beginning of this year.
