The College Entrance Examinations for the 2011 academic year is scheduled to take place on January 27th and 28th. Students are reminded of some new changes in exam regulations this year, including using black pens only to write down the answers for non-multiple choice questions. Besides, students are also allowed to enter the exam site five minutes before the exam starts.

In the past, students were asked to wait outside test venues until the scheduled exam time arrived.

Starting this year, students will be allowed to file into test sites five minutes before the exam.

Because non-multiple choice questions will be displayed on computer screens, students should prepare black pens.

Meanwhile, 2B pencils remain the best choice for filling out answer cards.

For multiple choice questions, students will not be deducted points for wrong answers, but the scoring method will be slightly different than in years past.

146,300 students have registered for this year's College Entrance Examinations, which is 4,000 more than last year.

According to the College Entrance Examination Center, repeat test takers and vocational students account for the difference.

With just two weeks remaining until the exam and with 9,000 more student openings available this year than last year, high school and vocational students that want to pursue university studies will have their work cut out for them.
