It feels great to take a big bite of hamburger and a sip of coke during a hot summer day.

Fast food provides convenience but it's not healthy to eat too much of it.

According to the survey by Department of Health of Taipei City, teenagers and adults ranging from the age of 15 to 24, eat out half of a week.

30% of them drink sugar-sweetened drinks.

20% snack daily.

15% of them eat midnight snacks, such as fried chicken, fries and other greasy foods.

Dietitians remind the public that one would put on 3.2 kilograms if consuming fast food set meal including hamberger, fries and coke, over a period of a month.

The public is encouraged to drink water instead of sugar-sweetened drinks, to avoid taking in too much sugar and calories.
