The iconic dress seen on the late singer Amy Winehouse's cover of her album "Back to Black," has been sold for $67,100 at the Kerry Taylor Auctions in London. 　　Winehouse wore the red and white dress, designed by Disaya, for the cover of her second album, which sold over 11 million copies worldwide. 　　After Winehouse's death earlier this year, Disaya decided to put the dress up for auction, with proceeds going to the 'Amy Winehouse Foundation,' established by the singer's father, Mitch Winehouse. 　　The Foundation supports charitable activities in both the UK and abroad, focusing on helping young people, who are affected by ill health, disability, financial disadvantage or addiction. 　　The dress, which was revealed before the auction, brought back mixed feelings for her father, who recalled seeing his daughter in the dress and noticing how frail she was at that time. 　　"This has got bittersweet memories for me because she was very thin at that point." 　　"I remember looking at her in the dress and her legs were very thin, and when you project forward to the Tony Bennett video you can see how much better she was. 'Back to Black,' these pictures were taken in 2006, so that was five years ago." 　　Other items sold at the auction included a Chanel cocktail suit and silk sari worn by Elizabeth Taylor, an ivory lace gown used by Audrey Hepburn in her 1952 film "Roman Holiday", and a replica of Princess Diana's wedding dress. 　　Auction house owner Kerry Taylor said that it's sad to see such a talented artist passing away so young. 　　"You know we have these ladies: we have the beautiful, serene Audrey Hepburn, the fabulous Elizabeth Taylor, the beautiful and kind Diana. And we have this young, raw talent, Amy Winehouse, who left us too soon. And it's quite poignant seeing her sweet little dress next to some of these very glamourous numbers." 　　"I think with all of these women, they were troubled women. You know they were sometimes unhappy in love, quite often happy in love most of them, and I think for Amy it's especially sad because I think it was about to come right for her and she never got that chance. That really is sad."
