While pop star Selina was in the hospital undergoing treatment for her third degree burns, members of the Sunshine Foundation made an effort to visit her, in an attempt to make her road to recovery less painful. The organization, which has been providing extensive services to burn victims both physically and mentally for years, are hoping that through this incident, people can open up their hearts to these struggling individuals in the society.

Mr. Lin has to go through rehab everyday as a routine since last March when 40% of his body suffered 2nd to 3rd degree burns from a gas explosion while he was at work.

The total surface of the wound was the area of about 40 palms.

After two skin transplants, Lin started his long journey of rehab.

Lin lost all strength after the accident, but he took little steps, and continues the tough challenge for his joints would be deformed should the rehabilitation process be discontinued.

As how long the process will take, nobody can give Lin a solid answer.

People like Lin would have to toughen up and face the society with long process of physical and mental reconstruction.

The Sunshine Foundation hopes the public can understand more about burnt victims through their care for Selina.

The foundation points out the cruel truth of life after the hospital for the victims, and to go back to normal daily lives is not that easy anymore.

Those victims will find out that they have to start everything from zero because many simple tasks would become difficult.

They will need the support of family and loved one on their side, while getting equal treatment in school, workplace and in the society
