Baby Formula Price Rises
Starting from September, product prices of three major brands of baby formula will rise by 5 to 12%, including Wyeth S-26, Karicare and Abbott.
The price hike for each can is estimated to be NT$80 at maximum, an upsetting news for new moms.
Fair Trade Commission says it will closely monitor baby formula prices to avoid monopolization from manufacturers.
