Vegetarian Kaiseki
This particular restaurant in Nantou is out with a completely new vegetarian Kaiseki. Instead of the usual sashimi, the ingredients are replaced with konjac, mushrooms, Japanese yams and fruits in targeting those who are seeking for a healthy lifestyle.
Don't be fooled by what it appears to be. To clarify, this is not sashimi, but it's made of konjac. Next to it, the abalone looking balls on a stick are actually made of mushrooms.
Check out this tofu that's topped with peanut powder and this yam that is made into the form of noodles.
All these new creations are not only exquisite but are also extremely healthy.
The restaurant is introducing vegetarian Kaiseki for a refreshing satisfaction this summer, so don't forget to ask for an order of this bowl of udon with the grapefruit sauce to complete your light and low calorie meal.
